Launch of new framework of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and orientation of participating institutions

Launch of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) 2.0 and orientation workshop for the Participating Institutions (PIs) was organized by UBA, on April 25th, 2018 at AICTE Auditorium, Nelason Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The program was addressed by Honorable Minister HRD Shri Prakash Javadekar through a video message and launched by Honorable Minister of State, MHRD Dr. Satya Pal Singh.

Program covers all the aspects of UBA in the perspective of PIs like:

1. Familiarizing the Participants with the Concept, approach and objectives of UBA.
2. Use of Reporting Portal of UBA for baseline data entry, data analysis reports, uploading monthly activity reports, Plan of Action and proposals.
3. Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools, Techniques and Situation Analysis and Plan of action.
4. Role of Subject Expert Group Institutions (SEGs), technology intervention and field partner in implementation.
5. Field Experience by PIs under UBA.
6. Launching of New framework for implementation of UBA.

Registrations started at 8 am with an overwhelming response from across the country. Launch of UBA 2.0 was a great success in presence of Secretary-Ministry of HRD, Secretary-Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DWS), Secretary-Ministry of Youth Affairs. Swachh Bharat summer Internship of Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation was also launched during the program.
